Before Toyo Ba ’Ka Mo? became a book, it lived in the rhythms of my kitchen: a space shaped by practice, intuition, and the quiet joy of creating food that feels honest.

 

This noodle dish from TBKM™ carries the same intention behind the book: flavours built slowly, mindfully, and with care.

 

 

Garlic softening, tofu turning golden, noodles soaking in depth of flavours…these movements are part of my cooking ritual. They are the gentle choreography that taught me how to listen to flavour, how to trust heat, and how to let simplicity shine.

 

TBKM™ was born from this very rhythm. Food rooted in culture, memory, and nourishment.
