The Holy Week is a solemn event celebrated by devotees all over the globe. It starts on the last Sunday of Lent, known as Palm Sunday, leading to Easter Sunday, which is the day of the Risen Jesus Christ.
As mentioned in this Katutubo/Maundy Thursday post, abstinence and fasting are some of the many traditions devotees observe during this time as a reminder of Jesus Christ’s suffering. Hence, most devotees would only nourish themselves with water (fasting), veggies, and fish (abstinence from red meat).

Easter Sunday is a festive day celebrating Christ’s resurrection, which also means the end of abstinence and fasting. Hence, today’s recipe is a celebratory dish using chicken meat, pan-fried veggies, and noodles. As we all know, noodles symbolize good health, longevity, and happiness. Symbolic of how Christ resurrected and will always be a part of our lives.
