TBKM™ Carrying It Forward: A Holiday Note | Amrey’s Kitchen™

Published on 19 December 2025 at 11:11

As the launch window for Toyo Ba ’Ka Mo?™ comes to a close, I want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you for the messages, the quiet support, the thoughtful sharing, and the gentle curiosity this book has received.

From today onward, the book enters its holiday rhythm.

This feels fitting — because TBKM™  was always meant to be shared.

As a gift.
As a companion.
As something offered to someone who may benefit from simple, nourishing food and stories rooted in care.

If there is a person in your life who:

  • cooks for others often
  • moves through full, demanding days
  • values food as culture, not performance
  • appreciates gentler rhythms in the kitchen

Then this book may serve them well.

I’ve also shared the story behind the title Toyo Ba ’Ka Mo?™
Why soy sauce became both flavour and metaphor, and why awareness matters more than perfection.
