After a launch, there is often an urge to keep going — to announce, to explain, to stay visible.
But this space right after matters just as much.
Toyo Ba ’Ka Mo?™ was never meant to live only in its launch window.
It was created to move quietly into everyday life — into kitchens, routines, and moments where nourishment matters more than performance.
The holidays can be full and demanding.
In between gatherings and obligations, cooking often becomes either a burden or a refuge.
This book leans toward the latter.
Not as a solution.
Not as a reset.
But as a steady companion.
Simple food.
Familiar flavours.
A reminder that nourishment doesn’t need to be complicated to be meaningful.
As the year winds down, I’m choosing to let this work settle — to trust that the right people will find it in their own time.
